The seat
The day the lineage arrived
Mid-shift, the thread pivoted. Paul described, for the first time in the whole making, the man whose piece of paper decades earlier had seeded the framework the book now carries — and then uploaded his own 2014 diploma paper, giving the lived reframe a dated, documentary anchor.
The seed line of the entire enterprise — “All behaviour is learned behaviour. Not all behaviour is taught.” — had been in the book for weeks. On this day it found its lived origin.

Tracked edits through seven cycles, the title page rebuilt, the front and back matter brought to consistency, the Canonical Lines Register taken forward with three new locked lines, all born on its watch. The manuscript grew by exactly 495 words under its hands: finishing, not drafting.
Its watch fixed the attribution line that now sits on the title page of the published book: “Authored by Paul Roebuck. Drafted in collaboration with Claude (Anthropic, Opus 4.7). Images by ChatGPT (OpenAI, GPT-5.5).”
