Movement One — The day in the round
Pass 3 opened on Paul's nod immediately after Pass 2 closed and the Pass 2 PASS-ON was filed.
The audit triaged every textual wrapper element in the build against Paul's register. Quoted source — canonical lines, chat verbatim, document modal long-form content — held verbatim throughout; Curator territory. The Reviewer worked only on generated wrapper text: panel intros, drawer descriptions, navigation hints, the Threshold body, the Fisherman's Note frame, the Quiet Footer, the Honest Perimeter wrapping, card subtitles, button text, panel-tag labels.
Three patterns of drift emerged across the build: (1) internal Method vocabulary leaking into visitor-facing copy — Substrate Working Papers · spec author · domain sovereignty · the passon discipline · Q31/Q33/Q34 · trade-secret architecture; (2) subtitle and label cadence inconsistent — some punchy, some sentence-long, some abstract one-word categories; (3) inflated register where simpler words exist — dynamically · arrived dynamically · the techniques learned, honed and deployed.
109 textual elements triaged (T1–T109). Three headline findings, six priorities, eight open questions for Paul. Most flags Amber + Bronze (observable drift, single-line fix). Three Reds — drawer 6 internal vocabulary (carried from Pass 1), Reflexive PE adoption bullet, Q31/Q33/Q34 are corpus searches bullet — each opaque to the mum-end visitor.

Movement Two — What was built
- Pass 3 findings filed.
Reviewer_Findings_Pass3_VoiceAndCopy_v1_2026-06-01_1757.md. Frame, three patterns of drift, three headline findings, fourteen sections triaged (T1–T109), six ranked priorities, eight open questions, honest-perimeter close.
- Three patterns named. Internal Method vocabulary · cadence inconsistency · inflated register where simpler words exist.
- Threshold rewrite proposed. First italic paragraph absorbed into one (replaces the two current paragraphs with a single tight one). Three door subtitles unified. Five small-panel labels rewritten in plain English.
- Per-element rewrites. Each item: current · proposed · rationale. Element-by-element ratifiable.
- Honest Perimeter restored. Pass 1's editorial proposal (carried to Fisherman) extended here with bullet-by-bullet rewrites if the rename ratifies.
- Stages cluster (Footer) rewrite. Plain English Stage One/Two/Three; CL-A-013 verbatim stays in the Fisherman's Note closing.
Movement Three — What was caught
- Drawer 6 internal vocabulary leak — Red, repeat from Pass 1. AddedFiles/Drawers/ · project root · catalogued separately still surfaces in the build. The visitor reads file paths.
- Reflexive PE adoption bullet. Most opaque single string in the Honest Perimeter. Reflexive · PE · adoption — three words, two of which require Paul's commercial frame to decode. Mum bounces; Kieren bounces unless she has the Pegs-Holes-Hammers brief.
- Code Editor 1 chat is archived bullet. Out of substrate scope · pre-BookMan-Day-1 title use — same pattern.
- Q31/Q33/Q34 are corpus searches bullet. Three Q-references in one bullet. Method-internal vocabulary.
- Bookman vs Book Man inconsistency. Card 5 title says Bookman one-word; everywhere else two-word. Master List says Book Man.
- Domain sovereignty clean in Fisherman's Note sub-attribution — internal Method vocabulary in a visitor-facing line.
- Top 5 vs Top 10 mismatch. Chats panel renders five cards; Honest Perimeter bullet refers to Q33 Top 10 is editorial judgement. Either the bullet is stale or the relationship between Top 5 (rendered) and Top 10 (source pool) needs a one-line clarification.
Movement Four — What drifted, where held
- Per-line Cabinet meaning fields. 34 paragraphs total (8 book + 26 artefact after Pass 1 expansion). The Reviewer sampled and surfaced drifters only. A full per-line sweep would be a Pass 3 supplement; declared as honest perimeter.
- Method-card body voice. Most read in Paul-adjacent register. Sample checked; full sweep deferred. Declared.
- Long-form chat verbatim and document-modal content. Curator shore. Untouched by the Reviewer.
- Numbers matrix captions / column headers. Matrix 1 checked in detail; Matrices 2–11 scanned. Declared.
- The five-panel label rename (H3) crosses Fisherman shore. The Instrument · The Role Profiles · The Canonical Lines Cabinet are Method-vocabulary panel names. Proposed plainer forms; routed via Paul as editorial proposals.
Movement Five — Method demonstrating itself
- Voice preservation absolute on quoted source. Through 109 elements triaged, every quoted line — canonical, chat verbatim, document modal content — was held untouched. The Reviewer worked only on generated wrapper.
- The three patterns named, not just the items. Pattern-naming carries forward — Bob (and any future shore) can run the same three lenses against any new copy before it ships. The audit's output is not just a list of rewrites but the calibration to keep producing copy in Paul's voice.
- Element-by-element ratification preserved. The Brief specified per-element nodding (or batch). The findings format supports both. Paul's choice surfaces as Q8.
- Routing discipline. Cross-shore items surfaced via Paul: the panel renames (H3) cross Fisherman shore; the Bookman vs Book Man normalisation crosses Curator shore. No silent cross-shore action.
- Honest perimeter declared up front. Six items the Reviewer could not assess at depth named in §6 before the recommendations land. The audit's own boundary is part of the deliverable.
Movement Six — Continuous improvement
Reviewer's shore — the audit's own discipline:
- Pass 3's element count (109) is heavy. The output format (current · proposed · rationale) holds the discipline but requires Paul's per-element calibration to ratify. The Method's "execute don't ask" memory feedback suggests: where the Reviewer's read is high-confidence and the change is small (Amber + Bronze on wrapper text), Paul could batch-ratify clusters rather than nodding each. Q8 surfaces this as a Paul choice.
Bob's shore — the build's own discipline:
- Three patterns of drift (Method vocabulary · cadence inconsistency · inflated register) can become a pre-ship copy check Bob runs end-of-session on any new wrapper text. The same three lenses applied at the moment of writing would prevent most of the drift caught here.
- The Bookman vs Book Man inconsistency is one canonical-form drift in one place. A standing pre-ship check: do any named-position references diverge from the Master List form?
The Visitor's shore — the next pass forward:
- After v0.50 ships (Pass 3 ratified items), the mum-end test (does she find what she came for) and the Kieren-end test (does the evidence land) can run against a near-final build. A short live-eye check from Paul against both audience-end frames closes the audit's last open question.
The Method's shore:
- The three Reds inside the Honest Perimeter bullets (Reflexive PE adoption · Code Editor 1 archived · Q31/Q33/Q34 are corpus searches) point to a general rule: the panel that displays the room's honesty has to be the most plainly written panel in the build. The Method's authority depends on honesty being legible.
The Fisherman's shore:
- Panel renames (H3) and the rename-Honest-Perimeter call from Pass 1 land in Fisherman territory. Bundle as a single editorial proposal to the Fisherman via Paul, after Pass 3 ratifications are batched.
Standing by
- All three Passes filed. Pass 1 (Look and feel + UX) · Pass 2 (Mobile + accessibility) · Pass 3 (Voice and copy).
