The seat
Two threads, one discipline
The seat ran as a line — three threads. The extraction pass read the full manuscript cold, pulling one hundred and two discrete factual claims into a register, each graded on a confidence scale built from Paul’s own words: Solid · OK · Vague · At risk · Locked.
Its founding move became method: “I am the thread that was asked to find what was wrong, where it was wrong, and how wrong. Not what was right, not what was missing, not what was beautiful.” The author verifies the personal; the machine verifies the external.

What the fact-check found
A biographical contradiction — one age given two ways across three chapters — had survived to V71. Extracted, put to the author, ratified one way, fixed everywhere. A famous quote checked: the idea one thinker’s, the verbatim words another’s — flagged red, reframed rather than deleted.
The worker proposed a striking statistic of its own, went to verify it, found no primary source, and dropped it before it ever reached the page: “Never attach a real source to a number it didn’t report.”
