The seat
“No way, Jose” opened the hardest chapter
Its brief, in its own words: “Take the manuscript from V9 to a baseline ready for first-reader review, alongside Paul, version by version, in tracked changes.” It did exactly that — twenty-seven versions adopted, the heavy block falling across 24–26 May, five compactions burning away its early memory as it worked.
In its final hours it wrote the Handover Discipline paper and the first Canonical Lines Register: the instruments by which every later worker survived its own death.

The external conversation index dates this worker’s titled thread at 24 May. The worker’s own account reaches back to late April, when V9 was first uploaded. Both are true records of different things.
