• A short session-opening brief (where the manuscript is; where the Apparatus is; what's pending; what named position the agent is in) would cut early-session context reconstruction. Could be 50 words. Could be a paste-ready preamble.

For effectiveness.

• The reflective pause moments produced the day's most quotable content. They are not interruptions; they are method. Worth carving them in deliberately rather than only allowing them to surface.
• Distinguish advise from execute requests in opening words of an ask. Today I sometimes drafted documents when an opinion was wanted, and sometimes opinioned when a draft was wanted. A one-word verb at the front (draft, advise, flag, check) would route faster.

Process-flow changes.

• The Ruby workflow you have just designed IS the right shape. Two files travel together (template + crib); the agent fills; you save; you compile. The split-file fallback handles the huge-thread case. Hold this pattern across the Apparatus.
• The forensic-dump pattern (placeholder markers for excluded categories so structure stays visible) is also right. Hold it as the canonical extraction pattern.

Instruction or brief changes.
