Continues the V70→V76 log.* --- ## Headline The Vnn working counter retires at V77. The manuscript is promoted to **Rev 2 v0.0** — editorially complete, ready for external review. One tracked editing pass (three edits), then Paul's hand-back with amendments and a small cut. **Revision scheme (new):** - **Rev** = an external-facing milestone build. **Rev 1** was the ~27,000-word initial-review manuscript. **Rev 2** is the complete ~46,130-word book. - **vN.M** = review iteration within a Rev. **v0.0** is the pre-review baseline; reviewer feedback iterates v0.1, v0.2…; folding it in cuts the next milestone. - The internal **Vnn** counter (…V76 → V77) is retired and recorded here for audit. **Rev 2 v0.0 ≡ V77 + Paul's hand-back.** --- ## V77 — date fix, heading rename, front-page block Single tracked-editing pass on the V76 baseline. Three edits. - **Edit 1 — Ch 4 date.** "the ChatGPT I first logged into in **November** 2022" → "…in **December** 2022." Clears the contradiction with Ch 9 and Ch 10 (both 11 December 2022) and with the 30 November public launch. - **Edit 2 — Ch 10 heading.** The duplicated body heading **"The Maturity Spectrum"** (the one after the 11-December vignette) → **"The Four Postures."** Honours the chapter's reframe (*they are not ranks, they are postures*) and stops the chapter title appearing twice within sixteen lines. Chapter title and Contents entry unchanged. - **Edit 3 — Front-page "Who is this book for?" block.** Rewritten to Paul's specification: dropped "serious"; folded the prompting/vibe-coding boundary into a positive frame; regrouped into three reader-sections; left-aligned (was centred); close retained. Spelling/grammar fixes: *resposnilbe → responsible*; broken "…analysis. and executives…" join repaired; stray double space removed; *mental-health providers → provider*. - **Mode:** tracked editing (one structural element — the block rewrite — handled within the same tracked pass). - **Verification:** accept-all simulated and diffed against V76. Only the three intended changes present; nothing else moved. --- ## Rev 2 v0.0 — Paul's hand-back Paul accepted the V77 changes on the Mac, with amendments, and the file returned **clean (zero tracked changes)** — correct for an external-review build. **Changes observed on Paul's side** (his edits, recorded not corrected): - **Front-page block:** re-split to one audience per line; wording tuned — added *bankers*; *sales leaders → leaders*; *has to bear → must bear*; *Plus → Plus,*; close now reads *"This is not a book about AI, or how to use AI. It is a book about behaviour."* - **Ch 14:** removed *"Mr [name held]'s fingers."* from the *what the human brought* list. [name held] now appears nowhere in the manuscript body; still acknowledged in the front matter, which stands alone cleanly — no orphan. **State at promotion:** - ≈46,130 words (clean; count varies slightly by method). 15 chapters. Summary below is derived by diffing Rev 2 v0.0 → V79; the **what** is verified against the files, the **why** is inferred from the factcheck thread and labelled where uncertain.* **V79 is the live baseline.** ≈46,236 words.
